A Twinning Success Story

Thanks to the collaboration between the Regional Directors of Eco-Schools Argentina and Brazil, a meaningful partnership was established between Austin Eco Bilingual School (Argentina) and Escola da Colina (Brazil). 

In 2024, teachers from Austin Eco Bilingual School visited Escola da Colina to experience the Eco-Schools Seven-Step Framework in action, an inspiring moment that supported their journey towards achieving the Green Flag later that year. 

The exchange continued in 2025, when representatives from Escola da Colina visited Argentina, sharing practices, exploring the school, and deepening this collaboration through mutual learning. 

Building on this connection, Austin Eco Bilingual School has been invited to join a 2026 socio-environmental project alongside schools from Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia, with Eco-Schools Brazil supporting the initiative. 

This example highlights how twinning between Eco-Schools can spark inspiration, strengthen learning, and lead to lasting impact.
