Eco-Schools delivers sustainability education through a project-based, student-centred approach. 

By actively participating in environmental management and decision-making, students develop critical 21st century competencies, including: 

• Systems thinking 

• Collaboration and leadership 

• Problem-solving 

• Critical and creative thinking 

• Civic engagement 

• Communication skills 

The programme fosters responsibility, resilience, and a proactive mindset that extends beyond the classroom and into lifelong behaviour.

Supporting a global movement  

Beyond individual recognition, Eco-Schools contributes directly to global education transformation efforts. As a core member of the Greening Education Partnership (GEP) under UNESCO, Eco-Schools plays a leading role in Pillar One: Greening Schools, supporting the global ambition to green 50% of schools by 2030.
